Face Customization Basics

Sword of Justice (逆水寒) has one of the most detailed character creation systems in any MMO. This guide covers everything you need to know to get started — even if you've never played a game with deep character customization before.

How Face Codes Work

A face code is a string of characters that encodes your character's entire facial configuration. Think of it like a save file just for your face.

To import a face code:

  1. Open the character creation screen (or visit a Mirror NPC in-game)
  2. Click the Import button (导入) in the top-right corner
  3. Paste the code and confirm

Tip: Our preset library has hundreds of community-created faces with one-click code copying.

The Slider System

Your face is divided into several categories:

CategoryControls
Face Shape (脸型)Overall face outline, jaw, cheekbones
Eyes (眼睛)Size, angle, inner/outer corner position
Nose (鼻子)Bridge height, tip shape, nostril width
Mouth (嘴巴)Lip thickness, width, corner position
Brows (眉毛)Shape, angle, thickness

Each slider goes from -100 to +100. Zero is the neutral default.

Saving Your Progress

Sword of Justice (逆水寒) auto-saves changes when you exit the editor. To export a code for sharing:

  1. Click Export Code (导出代码) in the editor
  2. Copy the full string
  3. Share it anywhere — or submit it to our database!

Common Beginner Mistakes

Don't over-adjust one feature — small changes across multiple sliders look more natural than maxing out a single one.

Save before experimenting — export your current code before making big changes so you can always restore it.

Mirror check — toggle the side view to catch asymmetries you miss from the front.
